Full or Part-time opportunity for a Family Physician on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron

The Sauble Family Health Team is looking for a primary care physician to work with our
well-established team of 2 doctors (one retiring), 2 Nurse Practitioners (who share our practice
load), 2 RPNS, 1 RN, 1 Social Worker and 2 efficient Admin Support. Funded by a blended
salary model, you will receive a salary supplemented by benefits, an RRSP contribution, 3rd
party billings, prev care bonuses, leadership stipends and a portion of OHIP billings. Extra
income may be earned by hospital visits, ER shifts, etc., but these are totally optional and are
not expected or required.

The retiring physician will be available to provide locum coverage for
short term absences such as vacation and maternity/paternity leave. Local schools are
excellent and sporting/cultural opportunities abound. All seasons are enjoyed with our amazing
sandy beach and nearby skiing and snowmobiling trails. Traveling to major centers is easily
within a 2-to-3-hour drive so one can get to and from major cities within the day. Opportunities

Join our group of physicians in a rural family health organization located in Palmerston, Ontario (90 min. from Toronto, 45 min. from Waterloo, 1 hour to Lake Huron)

 

We are looking for a physician interested in working:

  • in a collegial Family Health Organization environment
  • in the hospital under an AFA for 24-hour emergency care
  • to support primary care, as well as the local hospital through inpatient, emergency, and/or obstetrical care

There are opportunities to work in ER, long-term care, anesthesia as well as surgical assist.
